SAS Programmer

SAS Programmer to develop and execute application programs using SAS to generate data tables from a variety of data sources. Review and conduct QC of programming created by other department programmers. Works closely with team members to establish standards for writing programs and for program validation. Provides technical leadership to LJP’s programming function. Generates documentation describing the function, organization and validation of applications programs. Participates in the development and review of standard operating procedures and guidelines, and in developing strategies for applying SAS or other software to accomplish department objectives.

Ideal candidate should have a degree of BS in science, MS preferred; a minimum of 5 years SAS programming experience in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry; proficient in Microsoft Office applications; and good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both in person and in writing.
